Become a Happy Volunteer at TIP 2024 Each edition, we welcome about a hundred volunteers, who come to support our main team with commitment and happiness. Volunteers contribute to making the TIP an international event not to be missed. The missions are very diverse and involve both the preparation upstream and the actual event, whether for the Village or for our magical TIP Party, which is always eagerly awaited: Welcome the public Locker Logistics: setting up and/or dismantling Bars and many others Come and let's build the next TIP together! Come as you are Of any age, of any background, TIP welcomes you as you are! INDOORS Climbing Detailed program Saturday, May 23rd 9:00 a.m. Check-in and warm-up 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Climbing sessions 3:00 p.m. no new starts will be allowed in preparation for the finals. 4:00 p.m. Final round Participants are free to organize their breaks as they wish, but it is recommended to plan ahead - toward the end of the time slots, it may be difficult to find available opportunities to start a route. Prices Friendly* rate: €35 *if you want to give 5€ to people with economic difficulties Full rate : €30 Social Rate: €20 (max 20 - linked to friendly contribution - to help you to join us) Register Rules The venue is reserved for the event. All participants are required to take care of the equipment and to leave the gym in the same condition in which it was found. Format & Number of Routes / Attempts Each participant is allowed a maximum of 6 attempts (6 “runs”). Each attempt must be made on a route that has not been previously attempted — whether it was successfully completed or not. Re-attempting a route is therefore prohibited. A route is considered “attempted” as soon as both feet leave the ground. In case of doubt, the decision lies with the referee or the responsible volunteer. Categories Three categories are planned: Beginner: participants who have never attempted a route graded 5B+ or higher. Intermediate: participants who have already attempted at least one 5B+ route. Advanced: participants who have already attempted a route graded 6A+ or higher. If a participant qualifies for the intermediate or advanced category, they will compete only in that higher category. Route Scoring Each route is assigned a point value based on its difficulty (displayed at the base of the route). For top-rope routes: Either 0% of the points (if unsuccessful), or 100% of the points (if the final hold is reached). In the case of success, the points are divided by 2. For lead routes:Each clipped quickdraw earns 10% of the route’s total points. The remaining points (up to 100%) are awarded if the climber reaches the top without falling, using only the holds of the route. In the event of a fall or withdrawal, the points awarded correspond to the last quickdraw clipped. Bonuses (Disability / Injuries) Bonus points may be granted to participants with a disability or injury, according to conditions set by the organizers. These bonuses will be determined before the start of the competition. Final Round After the qualification phase (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM), points are totaled. For each category (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), the top 4 participants qualify for the final. In the final, each finalist must complete a new route, selected by the organizers and adapted to their category level. In the event of a tie after the final, the original ranking (qualification phase points) will be used as a tie-breaker. Belaying, Safety & Judging Belaying will be provided by identifiable volunteers or referees (e.g. via T-shirts or badges). Each participant must use a harness, climbing shoes, and all required safety equipment. Compliance with safety rules is mandatory. Any serious violation may result in exclusion from the competition. Conduct & Respect We aim to foster a spirit of respect, mutual support, and fair play among all participants. Any behavior deemed inappropriate may result in a warning or exclusion from the competition. The event is inclusive: gender, identity, expression, disability, age — everyone is welcome. OUTDOORS Running - Athletics As every year, the Front Runners of Paris join forces with the Paris International Tournament to bring excitement to the track, the road, and the hearts of all. Two days of sport, sharing, and self-improvement, where performance goes hand in hand with pride, inclusion, and friendliness. On Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, 2026 , more than 150 participants and volunteers are expected to celebrate athletics and running in all its forms, in a spirit that is both festive and committed. 🔥 Athletics in all its diversity A full day dedicated 100% to athletics at the Alain Mimoun Stadium , with a series of iconic and unconventional events, open to everyone: the 3000 m , 400 m , 1500 m , long jump , or shot put , as well as more playful formats that are a hallmark of the Front Runners, such as the purse throw . This day is also an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and experience sports in a different way: Introduction to guiding and running with a visual impairment : A profound, human, and sensory experience, running in a new way, guided by voice, trust, and listening. Retro-running (800 m) : Running… but backwards. A challenge as fun as it is demanding, that shakes up perceptions and sparks as many smiles as applause from the stands. 🏃 Two distances to get momentum and run together! Heading to the Bois de Vincennes for the traditional 5km & 10km road running events . Two distances, one same spirit: running together, at your own pace, fueled by the collective energy of the champions you are, and on a natural course perfect for both enjoyment and performance. 🙌 How about bringing your buddy? Because events are crazier together, we also suggest bringing a friend, a colleague, or a loved one to let them discover the event and experience TIP together, on track or on the road. ✨ And finally, maybe a few surprises… As often happens at TIP, some personalities might show up on the track, cheer, participate, or hand out medals… We won’t give you more details, but keep your eyes open! ... RACKET SPORTS Table tennis Detailed program Saturday, May 23rd Individual non-gendered tournament 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Athletes welcoming & warm-ups 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Non-gendered single tournament 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Lunch break 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Continuation of the single tournament 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Award ceremony Detailed program Sunday, May 24th Double Tournament 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Athletes welcoming & warm-ups 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Double tournament 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Lunch break 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Continuation of the double tournament 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Award ceremony To play double in 🏓, you need a table, two teams, four paddles… and at least a bit of understanding. Here, the game is serious: serves, smashes, pushes, strategy, and coordination are key. But this tournament hasn’t completely given up its playfulness. 👉 If a team finds itself down 2 sets to 0, they can activate a constraint for one set. Just one set to reinvent themselves, to surprise, to attempt the impossible… or just have a little fun. But after that, the match goes back to normal. Well… as normal as possible 😏 Because in ping, knowing how to play is important, but knowing how to adapt to chaos, keep smiling, and invent your own style… that’s even better. To make sure no one stays completely serious, come in costume if you feel like it! Team registration: - Don't have a teammate? No problem. You'll make another half-pair happy on tournament day. - Already have your other half? Choose a team name (not too serious) and the first to register creates the team. Then, the second to register selects the team name. Prices Single tournament only (Saturday): €15 Double tournament only (Sunday): €15 Single + double tournaments (Saturday and Sunday): €25 No preferential rate for licensees. Meals (Saturday and Sunday) not included to be booked at registration Register Rules Neither license nor specific medical certificate is required. A pair of sports shoes and a table tennis racket are required. Gymnase Georges Carpentier 25 Avenue de la Porte d'Ivry, 75013 Paris Write to the organizers Infrastructure Organized by
