Water Sports Rowing Detailed program Saturday, May 23th 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Check-in, boat launching, and warm-up 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM Races 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM Festive Event & Medal Ceremony OVERVIEW OF THE DAY The day begins with the welcome desk and briefing, followed by warm-up sessions. Races will take place in the afternoon, concluding with the award ceremony at the end of the day. PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT Activities, indoor rowing demonstrations, and partner booths. Light refreshments and snacks will be available on-site (at the athletes' own expense). Eligibility Requirements The regatta is open to adult rowers (18+), both national and international, who hold a valid license issued by a national rowing federation or an equivalent document. Race Format The races are conducted in lanes, with each crew assigned a specific lane marked by buoys. The ranking for the 1,000m races is based on real-time results (Open category). For the 500m sprints, starts are organized according to the results of the 1,000m races, seeded from the slowest to the fastest time. Prices Registration Fees: €68 (38 euros upon proof of an FFA license) Equipment Rental (Seat) 2-race Pack: €50 Additional race: €20 Meals not included – Food truck available on-site Late Registration (after March 31, 2026): 2-race Pack: €60 Additional race: €25 Participation in the 500m sprint is optional and free of charge. Para-rowing is available on a case-by-case basis for participants with disabilities, with specific adaptations made based on individual needs. Equipment and Rental A boat rental service is provided by the organizers, subject to availability. The organizers do not provide accommodation or catering services. Finality of Registration All registrations are final and non-refundable. Boat Rental Availability: If the number of requests for boat rentals exceeds the available stock, the affected participants will be notified in advance and their registration fees will be refunded. Crew Matching Service: If the organizers are unable to complete a crew through the "crew pool" (bourse aux équipiers), the affected participants will be informed and the corresponding fees will be refunded. Founded by the LGBT+ Sports Federation, the tournament brings together thousands of athletes from around the world to defend a simple but radical idea: every body deserves space, dignity, and freedom in public life and sports. At the symbolic heart of this year's edition – inside the historic halls of the Paris City Hall – the international collective ¡Qué Escándalo! presents a main exhibition exploring the body both as a battlefield and a territory of liberation. Organized by Nikita Egorov-Kirillov and Torro Osten , the exhibition connects queer identity, migration, and contemporary sport through works created by artists from Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia. What emerges is not a single narrative, but a polyphony of survival stories shaped by exile, transformation, vulnerability, and endurance. Sport has long been associated with discipline, masculinity, hierarchy, and national identity. Yet, for queer and migrant communities, the athletic body has often existed under scrutiny—judged, excluded, fetishized, or politicized. In this context, the exhibition asks the question: what does it mean for marginalized bodies not only to survive visibility but to occupy space in a competitive, collective, and proud way? For many participating artists, the body is not an abstraction. He carries boundaries, memories, work, transitions, wounds, pleasure, and fear. Like athletes entering a tournament, queer migrants are constantly negotiating with systems of control: language barriers, bureaucracy, economic precarity, social hostility, and the psychological pressure of reinvention. Two years later, the collective transformed into a growing international platform with exhibitions across Spain and Europe, bringing together emerging and established voices through radically different artistic languages The exhibition reflects this multiplicity: Italian abstractionism exists alongside Russian art brut, contemporary Chinese botanical painting alongside Iranian pop art, Venezuelan photojournalism alongside French ultra-realism and Spanish portrait photography. The diversity of aesthetics mirrors the very diversity of queer existence. There is no single queer image, no single migrant narrative, no single political voice. Accomodation Discover how to make the most of your Parisian nights The Paris International Tournament welcomes athletes from all over France, Europe and beyond. Because of budget restraints or simply to meet new people, you may want to be hosted by local participants close to your sport location(s) or to the TIP events. Each year, it is an opportunity to create delightful memories and a unique way to discover Paris while creating friendships with the other athletes. The accommodation is free from Friday to Monday. The TIP puts those who would like to be hosted in contact with people offering a hosting solution via a new platform for an efficient pairing. You'll be able to post an accommodation offer or go through the list of available housing solutions from your registration page . We are counting on you to continue this tradition and allow more athletes to come and take part in the Paris International Tournament 🔍 I am looking for an accommodation Do you live abroad or far from Paris region? A volunteer can accommodate you for the duration of the tournament. To do so, simply chose "I would like to stay with a local TIP participant" from the accommodation section when registering. Become a volunteer The TIP lives, thanks to the commitment and passion of our volunteers Si le TIP est un franc succès année après année, c’est aussi grâce à l’engagement et au travail acharné des bénévoles. Ils sont la colonne vertébrale du tournoi. Une trentaine de bénévoles, répartis sur différents pôles, composent la Commission du TIP . Ce sont eux qui travaillent tout au long de l’année à l’organisation du tournoi . Cette belle équipe qui s’enrichit, édition après édition, met en œuvre toute son expérience et ses compétences pour offrir la meilleure expérience aux participant·e·s. Pendant le tournoi, nous accueillons près de 750 bénévoles aux profils multiples qui s'activent, chaque année, pour faire vivre ce beau tournoi.
